This course is recognised by the Kinesiology Federation as fulfilling core requirements and is worth:
1.5 credits (22.5 hours taught and a minimum of 22.5 hours home study).
The course is designed for kinesiologists and is:
holistic and experiential in its approach to nutrition
explores and shares nutritional information
provides an opportunity to use muscle monitoring and balancing where appropriate.
introduces a psychological approach based on the principles of Personal Construct Psychology for uncovering the stuck emotional/mental/spiritual patterns and ambivalences associated with addictions and intolerances. The stress holding the priority pattern is then released using a Tapping Technique or other approaches.
Assessment
completion of Home Study questions, activities and a food/drink intake diary for a week
report on the work with one client demonstrating nutritional investigations and suggestions of support within the context of kinesiology sessions
The comprehensive course booklet and details of the required Homestudy will be emailed out to participants well before the course (so people can begin to read around the subject and maybe begin some of the Homestudy!).
Participants will need a copy of Patrick Holford’s ‘New Optimum Nutrition Bible’ (the latest edition if possible as ideas are continually evolving!)
